CVS run 11/29 - OOP: $14.60 - savings of: $70.01 - earned $20.00 in gift cards & $2.00 ECB

It took me a few days to figure out a CVS transaction that would be worth it this week. I am starting to collect the prepaid cards again for vacation next year, so I like to take advantage of the gift card deals when they end up working out to my advantage :) I had like $43.00 in ECB but I didn't want to spend too many on this so I kept most and just paid the difference OOP. I planned to do 2 transactions since I had 2 $4.00/$20.00 coupons but my cashier let me ring both transactions together. The only issue with doing this was I had 2 $5.00 prepaid cards I wanted to use (one in each transaction) but they are the cards that will not go through unless the balance is at or less than the amount on the card. So, since I rang both transactions together I could only use 1 card, since the other would come up declined. Make sense? lol. I had to go to 2 stores because my first store didn't have enough of the Glade air sprays.

I haven't been TOO impressed with the deals today sadly. I was hoping to find LOTS of things, but that hasn't happened. I have scored 2 good deals though :)

Our daughter has asked for Barbies for Christmas. We have 5 Barbies for her but no accessories yet. I was excited to find this Barbie convertible on Mattel.com for $11.99. (This item is listed at $14.97 on Walmart.com) Today they are offering FREE shipping on all orders and you can use code HOLIDAY20 to score an additional 20% off your total purchase. With the 20% off I ended up paying $9.59! I also went through Shop at Home to score 5% cash back and used my Discover to earn 2%

So, I paid $9.59 - $.48 (5%) - $.19 (2%) = $8.92 shipped to my door! YAY!

Next, I had $45.00 in Kohls cash to use. I decided I wanted to use it online because I wanted the cash back from Shop at Home along with the 5% from Discover. Today Kohls is offering FREE shipping on all orders and 20% off when you use code CYBER20. I ended up picking up a Step 2 Easel for $47.49 & a pair of Dockers for $27.99. My Staples.com money making order!

I posted earlier about 85 Hefty bags being $8.49 on Staples.com. To me, this is an awesome price. I don't have to leave my house AND I get them cheaper than they are sold in store (Walmart.com currently has 100 bags listed for $12.47) I decided to take advantage of the deal. I looked over the ad and saw that there was 5 software titles that are totally free after rebate (Internet security items mainly) We needed to get new software for our computers, my husband has wanted the Quickbooks & had 2 relatives that needed to upgrade their computer security, so I decided to just purchase all 5.  This turned out to be a sweet deal!:

OOP after taxes I paid $354.35

 -I will submit for $314.99 back in rebate checks

 -I will receive $7.05 cash back from Discover

 -I will receive $16.60 cash back from Shop at Home. This order put me over the $20.00 payout you need for Shop at Home. So, when I receive my check it will be for $34.12 (I currently have $17.52 in my cash back pot on Shop at Home)

So, after you subtract all rebates and cash back my final purchase price will be -$1.81!
