We were in Columbus tonight finishing up the cleaning at our old house and decided to make 1 final big trip to Giant Eagle to use up our food perks and fuel perks. We only had 11% in food perks and none were expiring this month, but I don't know when we will be up there again and have a chance to shop. Because we had a 2.5 hour drive home afterwards, we weren't able to stock up on meat, produce, freezer, or refrigeration items...so there are only pantry/H&B items.
I was actually shocked to see that my old store was completely out of Reach toothbrushes, $1.00 Kleenexes, Bounty, Dawn and a few other of the awesome deal items. I was surprised though to still see the Glade completely stocked!
I also used up our fuel perks and paid $.29 a gallon for gas! Not to shabby...although I only filled up 9 gallons instead of the usual 30 we would do :)

I would say my total would be approx. $25 less had I not taken my husband with me :) Nothing he picked up did I have a coupon for! (like the $8 K-cups and $6 V-8 energy drinks?!)
I won't list out all the items since some things didn't have coupons and others still weren't an awesome deal, but I will share the good finds! :) My total OOP is pretty high considering what I ended up with, but at least we now have some pantry items to last a few months. Since I really haven't been shopping the last 2 months we are out of pretty much everything :)
