Shopping trips 12/29 - Meijer & Giant Eagle

I headed to Meijer yesterday because I wanted to check out their Christmas clearance. I was happy to see it was all 75% off! There were a few items that would have been free after coupons I had, but I left my binder at home:( (Glade candles & no bake desserts) Wrapping paper was still almost $2.00 though for 30 SF. WOW..expensive...It was $1.25 at Target for 90 SQ a few days ago.

 -used $.40 coupon from a previous package (doubled to $.80)

 -used $10.00 customer satisfaction coupon (we received this from corporate from an issue we had with an item we purchased & took on vacation)


Giant Eagle

This is totally not brag worthy...but I thought I would share. This is what our Giant Eagle trips have looked liked for 2 months now (although this is a little higher OOP, than usual) I looked at the ad when I first got it in the mail & thought it looked like a great week. But, after sitting down and trying to match up coupons, I realized it wasn't that great. Maybe it's because we have enough detergent, dish stuff etc....but the deals just weren't as good as they have been in the past.  The only thing I ended up picking up that was on sale was the yogurt
