With Endorse closing down last month, I thought I would mention another smartphone shopping app. Receipt Hog is a fun and rewarding way to turn receipts from everyday grocery shopping into cash - no matter where you shop or what you buy! All they ask is you submit receipts from drugstores, convenience stores and grocery stores only...so no gas, fast food etc.
You will then earn coins for each receipt you submit that you can turn in for cash or an Amazon gift card. The coin value of qualifying receipts depends on the total amount spent on your shopping trip. Larger shopping trips (and therefore longer receipts) are worth more! Here's the standard breakdown: <$10 = 5 coins; $10-$50 = 10 coins; $50-$100 = 15 coins; $100+ = 20 coins. You will need 1000 coins to cash out for $5.00.
You can also earn more coins by referring friends and spinning the Hog Slot machine. There is also a 10 question survey you can take when you sign up that will earn you an easy 50 points!
Receipt Hog works on both iPhones and Android smartphones! To get started, just head over here and download the app onto your smartphone.
I am VERY new to this app so I can't give any opinion of it yet. It does look extremely easy to earn points though and I like that they accept receipts from any store. It kind of reminds me of the old Endorse (before they switched to a smartphone based app). I will give my review once I get more receipts uploaded and I am able to cash out!
