My CVS trip went a little better than I planned! I love it when that happens :) I originally rang everything up and checked out. My total was more than I thought it would be and I couldn't figure out why quickly, so I gave my ECB to pay and left. Once I got in the car, I realized I had grabbed a Covergirl eyeliner instead of Almay. The Covergirl was $8.29 with no ECB instead of the Almay at $5.99 with $3 ECB. I went back in and returned the Covergirl and they gave me back $8.29 in cash & then I paid $5.99 for the Almay. So, the difference worked out to be $2.30 more in my pocket in cash than when I first walked into the store!

 -used $1.00 off 2 from the red coupon machine - expired
=$1.03 money maker after ECB!

I had a $4 off $20 beauty purchase CVS coupon that I used on the following item:

 -used $2.00 coupon from the Sunday paper
=$.99 after ECB

John Frieda hair color $11.99
 -used FREE coupon (took off $12.99)
=$1.00 money maker!

2 Loreal hair color $2.34 each (on clearance for 75% off)
 -used $5.00 off 2 coupon from the Sunday paper
=$.32 money maker!

 -$4 off $20 coupon beauty club coupon
 -used $8.49 in ECB 

So, I spent $8.49 in ECB & earned $12 ECB back! I also left with $2.30 in cash.....I'd call this a great trip!
